CASA of Oregon works with local rural
communities and housing providers to improve housing resources for
farmworkers and their families. For the past seventeen years CASA of Oregon
has provided development services for seasonal and year-round housing as
well as homeownership opportunities. CASA of Oregon’s activities not only
benefit area farmworkers but also provide an economic benefit to the
community at large. The construction and on-going operation of farmworker
housing and related facilities provides jobs to the local communities.
CASA of Oregon is recognized
nationwide as an innovative and effective developer of farmworker housing.
During its seventeen year history, CASA of Oregon has constructed over 900
units of multi-family housing. CASA of Oregon has assisted in the
rehabilitation of over 1200 on-farm bed spaces and has also constructed 13
single family homes for rental and subsequent sale.
